Faridpur Polytechnic Institute is known as one of the oldest Polytechnic Institute in Bangladesh of mid-level Engineering and Technology. It is situated at Baitul Aman, a neighborhood of Faridpur City.
The institute was established in 1963 which was named as Faridpur Technical Institute. After that in 1967, the institute changed its name as Faridpur Polytechnic Institute. Another related post check here.
Faridpur Polytechnic Institute works under the official control of Ministry of Education, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh acting through the Directorate of Technical Education. The scholarly projects, in any case, work under the direction of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka.
It offers diploma-level programs for Diploma-in-Engineering in a wide range of innovative zones, each required to examine for a 4-year-long educational modules. There is a division for every one of the above projects and a related subject department called as Non-tech. Every department is going by a main educator (CI). In this way, there are aggregate of seven offices in Faridpur Polytechnic Institute.
