Jessore University of Science & Technology

As a Government finance public University in Bangladesh, Jessore University of Science & Technology was established in 2007. Just is fourth government state fund university in Khulna Division and the first in Jessore.

Just is situated at Jessore Sadar with a seven-storied scholastic building is in the center southern bit of the University. There are 710 seats available for undergraduate students.

The University started the undergraduate program and its academic function from the session 2009-2010. On 10 June 2009, it started the first batch class. The first four departments were introduced when it began its academic journey which was Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Environmental Science & Technology (EST), Microbiology (MB) and Fisheries & Marine Bioscience (FMB). In addition in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013, the University added more 11 departments. Recently in 2016-2017, one new department call Biomedical Engineering started in. Now there are 19 departments under the 07 Faculties.
